CABLE KNIT PILLOW

Knitted pillows are very popular and

I found pattern for this on in a blog...

I used some yarn from my stash again, this was the last skeins
of this wonderful wool, love the color dusty pink...
the same as used here
Nice and easy project, good for  Easter knitting..

Another small project just finished,

the "Burberry inspired cowl" and I found the pattern

I used "Cotanani" from Mirasol,  60% cotton and 40% wool
the same as I used in my little prince's sweater

I realy love this wool and luckily, this came
in my mailbox the other day,
THANKS to a knitter from Bergen!

HAVE A NICE DAY!

ON A RAIN AND STORMY DAY...

We have had some very rainy days lately, after some promising
spring days it seems like winter is back with rain and storm,
it is good to bring some color in

I have spent some days in my sewing room and made
a dinosaur pillow for my little prince

and colorful flowers and butterflies for the princess

I had orders on some yoga bags and I made a few  more
for my store

in different fabrics and all with old buttons

also a few more pillows for my store

my garden angels are cold outside waiting for the
spring to show up again

I am enjoying my favorite tea from my new teacups!

Weekend again, have a nice one!

BOY'S SWEATER

Inspired by this blog, I knitted this cool sweater for
my little prince.

I love the simple, but effective pattern, it is
two rows with one knit, one purl

one row knit, and then two rows with one purl, one knit.

love the yarn, it is "Cotanani" from Mirasol.
60% cotton and 40% wool, so nice and soft.
I wish I had some more,  if you have, let me know

Spring is in the air

On Sunday we had a nice walk on the beach,
enjoy the pictures and have a wonderful week!

Lazy Friday evening

I like Friday evenings, and as you can see here, Stella, our Maine Coon too....

while it seems like everybody else in Stavanger are rushing on to
get on the road to beat the traffic to get to wherever they are
going  for their winter break

we are enjoying a relaxing evening  with some delicious sushi,
prepared by the sushi chef of the house, mmmmm

I have finished a simple sweater for our little prince

the pattern is free here, I used leftover wool from my
stash, "Kauni" and "Nøstebarn"

His sister has got a new headband, pattern here,
also knitted in some leftover wool, I think this was used
in a babyjacket...

Have a wonderful, lazy weekend and
 thanks again for stopping by!

Looking out the window, and it is still snowing.

We will enjoy a white weekend, hope you will
have a nice one too..

Thanks to everyone who stops by.

AND ANOTHER ONE FOR THE PRINCESS

January has gone in a rush, but it has been a productive
month and I have finished a few of my project.

Here is another jacket, just finished with  help
from a friend that needed something to do on
 her flight back to Houston

The jacket has traveled to Houston and back and now it
is finished and ready for buttons

I think these Moda buttons will be perfect.
The pattern for the jacket is in "Mix barn" from
"Sandnes garn", and I used wool called "Lima"
from "Drops" a wonderful wool/alpaca blend

Done!
A sweater for my prince is now on my needles...

Thanks for visiting and have a creative week!
