SUMMER IN AUGUST

We have had some beautiful summerdays lately
and I can still sit outside knitting

and this is how far I am on the twin`s
traditional Norwegian  cardigans "Sirdal"

I am knitting them in size 6 years and they are big,
I will put them aside and do the sleeves next year

and as you can see, something new is already on my knitting
needles, the sweater "Marius". Red for little sister and
little brother will get a blue one

Little brother`s quilt top "cars" is done and it is on the
way to be macine quilted by Sharon

Everyone is enjoying the last taste of summer, and this week school
started again

and our little ones are already in preschool

Cruise ships are still arriving at the harbour and the town
is filled with tourists

Have a nice week

and thanks for stopping by!

Flotte blomsterbilder og nydelig strikketøy. Er deilig å kunne ta med seg strikkinga ut! Det er bare å nyte det mens vi kan.

What beautiful sweaters you've knit! At this time of year I begin to yearn for the lovely warm colours that I associate with winter clothing. Our schools open in the first week of September, so I've been happily shopping for my two wee grandsons' school outfits.
