Stolene er blitt malt og idag fikk de nye puter. Fant dette flotte stoffet på min handletur i formiddag
The chairs have been painted and they got new pillows today. Found this nice fabric when I was out shopping today.

På min handletur var det flere ting som kom hjem med meg idag, en eske med flotte stoffer og bånd, som sukkertøy.

Found more things today, a box with nice fabrics and ribbons, like candy.

Her i kveld med stearinlys i, jeg synes den er så flott! I love this one, also new today!

NY VESKE og UTLODNING

Har sydd meg veske og er så fornøyd! Fant mønsteret på internett, er den ikke flott?

Sydd av et stoff jeg kjøpte for et par år siden når jeg jobbet på en quiltebutikk her, skulle egentlig bli et skjørt.... nå har det bare ligget der og ventet, har nok stoff til en til, og det skal nok bli en gave til ei som likte den veldig godt.... akkurat passe stor til penger og leppestiften...

Lillesøster sin kjole er også ferdig strikket, den ble tatt i bruk med en gang

Enda en travel uke her, vært på shopping igjen, her er så mye flott og dette ble med hjem

tror jeg har fått helt dilla på "gammeldagse" skilt

Enda mer stoff, herlig Amy Butler stoff, kanskje flere vesker? Fant også noe flott linstoff, kanskje puter?

15 MONTHS!

I cannot believe it, have to tell myself several times, 1 year and 3 months, where does the time go? You can see that little brother already has worned out his first Levis...

We had a trip to Kemah this week end, very busy, it is Spring break.

I finished another bag today, if you like it, you can buy it here, I will not tell how many sewing machine needles I broke while sewing it

The little dress is nearly done, weather is nice, do you want to come over for a blueberry muffin?

I have this quilt hanging on a quilt rack, it has all the seasons on it, I will show the whole quilt next time

It will be a wonderful week, look at this sunset yesterday evening

FLOWERS

Nearly every blog I look into lately has pictures of flowers, everyone is waiting for the spring. We have been buying flowers, this time for indoors,
Twins came too, with new shoes on

Some flowers came home with us, have you ever seen such a big primula?

I have knitted the "Olympic Reindeer hat" from a pattern I found at Ravelry, a little too big for this little boy

I have to show you this place, it is just around the corner from us, can you see the llama?

We are very busy  these days, climbing stairs is very popular

My sewing machine is still in the repair shop, but new project is on my needles, this time a little dress

NEW SWEATER

Finished the quick wool sweater for myself! It was a pleasure to knit, with thick yarn on big needles and it smelled wonderful of sheep.. Now I have washed it in "Soak" a special soap for wool. It will keep me warm next winter

My sewing machine is in for service, but before it went, I started a new bag. It is the same one that I already made, but I don't think I like these fabrics either, well, I will put this one in my little store

our two little ones are not in the mood for the photograph this morning

but this one always smiles

SPRING CLEANING

It is spring in the air and I have been cleaning house all morning. Husband is working outside, cleaning the pool and make the pots ready for spring flowers. I had a little break for coffee and knitting

On my needles now is a sweater for myself for next winter. Very easy project with thick wool yarn on big needles.
 Hope that this winter is over now, we even had snowflakes in the air on Wednesday.

BEAUTIFUL QUILT

I just have to show you this beautiful quilt that came here last week. Again it is my friend back home who has made this one, isn't it just georgeous? I will bring it over to my "quiltinglady" to be machine quilted.  The quilt is a Paula's design. When I first came to Houston we were in the same quilt group, I have several of her designs to show you later. Now Paula has her own quilt company, "Bonnie Blue Quilts".

With some help from Anne-Grethe,  I am now experimenting with my photos. Also the same lady had done some baking on her blog, and I got inspired. She lives far up north in Norway and she is planning a trip here to Houston for the quiltfestival this fall.

A nice week end is over, and I have relaxed with alot of good magazines, just for me

The red table cloth is done and I am very pleased with it, it looks great with red and white dishes

SUNSHINE

This week is nearly over and I have been planning to blog since Sunday..... Every day has started with something unexpected, but hopefully everything is back on track now.

The sun is back and on Sunday we went for a long walk around a lake. It is a so called "man made" lake, I remember when it was nothing here, but fields and wild rabbits, now it is a new neighborhood.

I finished my bag, but I am not happy with the fabrics and some new ones are already out, maybe I will like them better, if you like it, let me know...

The long socks are still on hold, and here is a little  little sweater I knitted this week. The yarn is  100% "Baby Llama", very soft and nice

I need a new tablecloth to match the red and white dishes and these fabrics will become a new one, maybe this week end.
